The self trust course

You are not
the confusing part.

Eight sessions to rebuild the judgment somebody you trusted taught you to doubt. You will not be told whether to stay or go. You will get your own account back.

I am going to give you back
the thing it actually took.

Not closure. Not an apology. Not a verdict on whether you should have left sooner.

No being told what to do.
No being handed somebody else's judgment.
No pretending any of it was simple.
Real people, every kind of relationship

It was not always a partner.

The relationship differs. What it did to your judgment usually does not.

The part nobody helped you with

Leaving ended the situation.
It did not rebuild what the situation took.

Everybody had something to say while it was happening. Get out. Set a boundary. You deserve better. Then it ended, and the advice stopped, because everyone assumed the hard part was over.

It was not. The hard part is that you came out of it still checking. Still building the argument. Still needing somebody to agree before you will believe what you lived through.

That does not resolve on its own. It gets quieter and more familiar until you stop noticing you have built your life around working around it.

Why it still has not lifted

You did the reading. You told the story.
And you still check.

01

You need somebody else to agree before you will trust that your own feelings are legitimate.

02

You replay conversations, trying to work out what actually happened and whether you were at fault.

03

You know something feels wrong, and you have learned to talk yourself out of what you know.

04

You over explain your boundaries, because you believe you need an argument convincing enough to justify them.

05

You mistake apologies, promises and temporary improvement for genuine change.

06

You know exactly what you never want again. You have not worked out what you actually do want.

The problem is not that you are broken.
It is that your judgment got outsourced,
and nobody handed it back.

There is a different way in

So here is exactly what
rebuilds self trust.

Strip it all the way down and it comes from three things, built in this order. Most people try the third one first, which is why it does not hold.

Part one

Your account

What happened, in your own words, without needing a witness.

Facts on one side. Explanations, excuses, promises and potential on the other. Almost everything else is built on this one skill, and it is the one you were trained out of.

Part two

Your boundaries

A boundary is what you do, not what you ask for.

Right now you are negotiating. You explain, you justify, you draw the line again more gently and hope it lands. A real boundary does not need their agreement to work.

Part three

Your standards

Built from your values, not from your fear.

Forgiveness, reconciliation, restored trust and restored access are four different things. This is where you decide which ones anybody gets from here.

Most people only have one of those three, and it usually got built in a hurry, out of fear, right after the worst week of their life.

Here is what we do

Three phases. Eight sessions.
One a week.

You cannot build boundaries you can hold before you have your own account of what happened. The order is the method, and the weekly pacing means you cannot outrun the work.

Session 7 · Decide What Gets Access to You NowFrom Sarah’s feed
  • Forgiveness can be unilateral. Reconciliation cannot. You can forgive somebody completely and still never give them access to you again.
  • Forgiveness, reconciliation, trust and access get used interchangeably, usually by somebody who wants something from you.
  • The full sessions run about an hour, with a worksheet, and you keep all of it.
What you walk out with

You do not leave with a reading list.
You leave having done the work.

  • Your own account of what happened, in one paragraph, that does not need anybody to co-sign it.
  • The line between what you observed and the explanation you were handed for it, so you stop relitigating.
  • A decision you can stand behind without certainty, permission, closure, or universal agreement.
  • Boundaries stated once, without over explaining, and a plan for what you do when one is ignored.
  • A way to read people by pattern and consistency instead of apologies, chemistry, or potential.
  • Your standards, written down, and a clear answer on who gets access to you from here.
  • Your Never Again commitments, in your own words, for the next time somebody charming tests them.
  • A life you are not organizing around managing somebody else.

In eight weeks you stop asking whether you were the problem,
so you can get on with the rest of it.

Included with the course

The 25 scripts, for the conversations that leave you stuck.

Word for word language for the moments you freeze. When they will not address it. When they bring it up in front of other people. When somebody asks why you did not leave sooner. When you need to say no once and not eleven times.

You get them the moment you finish the quiz, whether or not you ever buy anything.

  • The private club, for the parts you cannot say out loud yet, moderated and anonymous if you want it
  • A worksheet for every session, yours to keep
  • Lifetime access and every update, so you can come back the next time it wobbles
  • The 25 scripts, free with the quiz, no purchase

This is for you if:

  • You are capable everywhere else, and this is the one area where you cannot trust your own read.
  • You already left, and the second guessing did not leave with them.
  • You are still in it, and you want to tell the difference between somebody repairing and somebody managing you.
  • It was your mother, your sibling, your best friend, or your business partner, and you assumed courses like this were only for people who got cheated on.
  • You have done therapy, or you are in it now, and you want structured work between sessions.
  • You know exactly what you never want again, and you have not worked out what you actually do want.
Who is teaching this

I am Sarah Timm.

I help people rebuild self trust after being hurt by somebody they trusted. More than eight thousand people follow the work, and the lesson that reached the most of them was not advice. It was one distinction: forgiveness and access are not the same thing.

Here is what I want you to know, because it is the whole point of these eight weeks. I am not going to tell you whether to stay or go. I could not do that responsibly, and more to the point, somebody else deciding for you is how this started.

The goal is not to hand you my judgment. It is to rebuild yours until you do not need mine.

You should be able to trust your own read on a room, whether or not anybody in it agrees with you.
